Building the bench

A good bench disappears. You should notice the work, not the wires. We start with the Node Hub so one cable carries power, two displays and the network. The Beam Lamp mounts to the monitor and dims itself to the room. The Desk Mat gives the whole surface a quiet, consistent feel.

Nothing here is loud on its own. Together they remove friction — and that is the point of the bench.
